The claims, and what is behind them
The paragraph below is Amazon’s own sales copy. We keep it quoted and set apart rather than folded into our text, because marketing prose and a description are not the same thing, and because what it leaves out is as useful as what it claims.
Little do-it-all — Mac mini packs pure power into a small, five-by-five-inch desktop as the M6 chip delivers next-level AI capabilities. Mac mini features 2.5Gb Ethernet with support for Wi-Fi 7* and Bluetooth 6, with ports on the front and back. M6 chip — Everything you do on Mac mini feels more responsive with the M6 chip and its next-generation CPU. Fly through AI workflows with up to 4.8x faster AI performance,* thanks to a Neural Accelerator in each GPU core, faster unified memory, and a Dual 16-core Neural Engine.
The price, read properly
That is an ordinary sale price rather than a clearance, around the middle of what we see across the listings we check. It is real money off, but it is not a reason to hurry.
One caveat we will not paper over: this is measured against Amazon’s own listed price, not against the lowest figure the product has ever carried. Our record of this listing starts on 27 August 2026, so it is a comparison, not a history.
The listing carries an end date of 27 October 2026. Retailers pull pages early and without warning, so read that as the outer edge rather than a promise.

These are the nearest listings by price that our tracker currently holds, not a survey of the market. Anything not listed on Amazon does not appear here at all.
